Bermagui was made internationally famous by the American author Zane Grey who pioneered the sport of gamefishing here in the 1930's. Following Zane Grey's passion for gamefishing, Captain Dave Cassar and the crew of the Slammer stalk the massive fish that prowl these rich south coast waters.

The Slammer was custom built to ensure maximum comfort without compromising fishability. The Slammer is fast, agile and a proven fish raiser, getting you to the grounds and back again in comfort and style. Fully equipped and tournament rigged, The Slammer is ready to take on anything these prolific waters can throw at her.

The Slammer  is 40’ feet in length and is powered by twin 400 HP Fiat turbocharged diesels. The electronics include chart plotter, radar, colour sounders, and auto pilot, whilst to aid fishing we have spotlights for night fishing, ouriggers, game chair and use the latest in tackle. The Slammer also boasts a double stateroom, four V berths, shower & toilet, upstairs saloon,  dinette and is licenced to carry 6 guests.
